I have been teaching Visual Arts, Design and Craft for over three years. My students come from a variety of backgrounds and age groups-kindergarten, elementary, high school and mature students alike.
I teach on-site in a variety of settings including art studios, public and private schools. My class can be one-on-one, small or medium size (3 to 20 students).
I'm also good at holding virtual sessions using Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
My range of traditional medias include pencil drawing/sketch, charcoal, watercolor, acrylic, marker and culpture. For digital medias, I have instructed design-related computer software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
I encourage my students to try out an interdisciplinary approach, Such as mixed media painting, material collage, etc.
In my class, I try to supplement practice with theory, such as art history and design methodology. Students will build up hands-on experience with theoretical fundation. A handful of things I talk about the most including color theory, composition, typography, animation and cinematography.
I would love to work with schools, art studios and organizations to enrich my teaching resume.
