I have been teaching Visual Arts, Design and Craft for over three years. My students come from a variety of backgrounds and age groups-kindergarten, elementary, high school and mature students alike.
I teach on-site in a variety of settings including art studios, public and private schools. My class can be one-on-one to small and medium sizes (3 to 20 students).
I'm also holding virtual sessions via Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
I utilize traditional and digital medias in my classes. The traditional medias include pencil, charcoal, watercolour, acrylic paint, pastel as well as craft materials such as clay, wood and metal. For digital arts, I use computer software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Paint Tool SAI and Blender.
I always encourage my students to experiment and venture into unfamiliar territory, such as mixed media painting, material collage, etc. I want my students to develop a curiosity that pushes them to explore beyond the classroom/seminar.
I try to supplement practice with theory, such as art history, design methodology or natural history. Students will gain practical experience based on theoretical knowledge.
I would love to work with schools, art studios and organizations to enrich my teaching portfolio.
