I have been teaching Visual Arts, Design and Craft for over three years. My students come from a variety of backgrounds and age groups-kindergarten, elementary, high school and mature students alike.
I teach on-site in a variety of settings including art studios, public and private schools. My class can be one-on-one, small and medium size (3 to 20 students).
I'm also holding virtual sessions via Zoom.
The traditional medias I use in my class include pencil, charcoal, watercolor, acrylic, marker and clay. For digital arts, I use computer software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and PaintTool SAI.
I encourage my students to experiment and step into unfamiliar territories, such as mixed media painting, material collage, etc.
In my class, I try to supplement practice with theory, such as art history, colour theory and design methodology. Students will build up hands-on experience with theoretical foundation.
I would love to work with schools, art studios and organizations to enrich my teaching portfolio.
